In Greece making traditional musical instruments is a ‘grandfather skill’ inherited through the ages and rarely shared outside a family. In Greece people with these skills will always have work. Your work place is right next to the apartment where you will live and you will usually work in the workshops alongside other short-term volunteers from different countries. FNEC Horse patrol

FNEC greeceThis project takes place in the small
village of Fiskardo on the beautiful

back of our Haflinger horses. Equipped

Bluehill youth culture

imageBlue Hill has long experience in working with disadvantaged youth from the suburbs of Stockholm. The activities will be based on methods used in the local community "Youth to youth" where older youngsters are role models for younger ones. The main aim of the project is to create a positive environment full of activities suppressing unwanted behavior. Blue hill work with many activities so the youngsters have a lot of "action" in his/her spare time. Compagnons Batisseurs construction/conservation camp

imageCompagnons Batisseurs was born in the 1950’s; the aim of the project was to help rebuild homes and communities that had been hit hard by WorldWar II. During these summer work camps volunteers task will be to help improve better conditions of life for families in social difficulties, construction camps to create social centres (these can range from cabins in the mountains to buildings that host courses and provide accommodation) work camps for environmental protection or rehabilitation of sites of national heritage.
